Announcement: expert round table “Concept and structure of Electoral Code”

This event will open the series of expert round tables dedicated to the development of Russian Electoral Code that will:

  contain no internal contradictions;

  be suitable for practical use;

  completely regulate federal electoral process and set general framework for regional and municipal elections;

  set citizens’ electoral rights as its priority;

  encompass domestic as well as international electoral practices;

GOLOS Association strongly believes that such document needs to be created not by the State Duma, Presidential Administration or central Electoral Commission solely, but by joint efforts of public and electoral experts.

Electoral and legal experts, political and social science specialists, members of electoral bodies, political parties and NGOs are invited to take part in expert discussion.
